As a member of the International Network of Privacy Law Professionals (INPLP), a not-for-profit international network of qualified professionals providing expert counsel on legal and compliance issues related to data privacy and associated matters, Ana Popović, Živković Samardžić Employment Partner, wrote an article on “What steps should employers take when publishing the labor act on the notice board to comply with labor act publication regulations in Serbia”.
Since employers in Serbia on daily basis have to publish certain labor document on the notice board, Ana answered the question whether the employer is obliged to implement certain measures in order to comply with the Law on Personal Data Protection, considering that everyone who has access to the notice board will be able to read the personal data of the employee.
INPLP provides targeted and concise guidance, multi-jurisdictional views and practical information to address the ever-increasing and intensifying field of data protection challenges. INPLP fulfils its mission by sharing know-how, conducting joint research into data processing practices and engaging proactively in international cooperation in both the private and public sectors.
