In 2020, Foreign Investors Council (FIC), an independent business association of the leading foreign investors that are present in Serbia, launched FIC Insight as an additional service to its members and a platform for exchanging knowledge. It is a presentation of selected important new legislation to interested FIC members.
The fifth event in a row was dedicated to the amendments to the Law on Electronic Document, Electronic Identification and Trust Services in Electronic Business. Novelties the amendments bring and experience from the four years of the application of this law (main achievements, problems in practice and legal significance of unqualified trust services), but also the legislative situation in the European Union in this domain, were presented by Živković Samardžić Corporate and M&A Partner and FIC Legal Committee President Igor Živkovski and Telco and Digital Committee Representative Vladimir Boljanović.
At the event, Igor made a presentation with a focus on the most important amendments, including cloud signature, as well as on the proposed changes of the eIDAS Regulation. The presentation was followed by an interactive discussion with some of the 90 participants of the event and complete video record is available via this link.
