AmCham Serbia, country’s leading international business hub composed of 190+ companies united by a will to improve the Serbian business environment and be part of the influential community, announced election of new Leadership of AmCham working groups for their two-year mandate. Among those elected is Jovana Tomić, partner and head of Employment practice at Živković Samardžić, who shell serve as AmCham Serbia Labor Regulations Task Force Manager.
AmCham Labour Task Force, under Jovana Tomić’s management, shall aim to establish ongoing cooperation with policy makers with the view of improving labour related regulations in order to increase competitiveness of Serbia as an investment destination, thus facilitating economic development and sustainable increase in employment.
In the upcoming 2016-2018 period AmCham Labour Task Force shall focus on monitoring the implementation of labour legislation, insist on consistent implementation and uniformity of interpretation and monitor amendments to legislation which concern the functioning of social dialogue.
