Facial recognition technology is becoming increasingly embedded into our everyday lives, and although its capability to enhance security, productivity, and convenience is indisputable, many concerns are raised about the privacy risks of such type of data processing, as well as its compliance with the privacy regulations.
Having in mind the importance of this topic and that the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection increasingly calls for attention among both governmental and private organizations to comply with the privacy regulations, we are bringing to your attention an article written earlier this year by Živković Samardžić Dispute Resolution Associate Sonja Stojčić.
The article was published by the International Network of Privacy Law Professionals (INPLP), a not-for-profit international network of qualified professionals providing expert counsel on legal and compliance issues related to data privacy and associated matters.
